The Physical Studio

Walls – Double wall high density concrete block with 50mm airgap, 50mm Rockwool, 2 layers plaster board and 15mm plaster
Floor – Floating floor which sits on rubber mountings at all points to isolate vibrations
Windows – custom built triple glazing
Doors – double custom hardwood doors with airlock
Air conditioning – Input and output fans - silent during recording!!
Dimensions – 6m long x 3.5m wide x 2.5m tall - enough for six!

1. What does it cost? - The rate is 28 pounds per hour at September 1 2007. To make a booking email - nathan@oceanrockstudios.co.uk

2. When can I come and record? - Just email and we can discuss availibilty nathan@oceanrockstudios.co.uk

3. How long does it take to record? -This depends on the experience of the band and how well rehearsed they are. At least two hours is the minimum to record a basic track. Most bands come for a full day of 8 hours and get three or four tracks completely finished

4. Can I record using backing tracks? - Yes

5. What will the sound quality be like? - CD or DVD quality,
